Automatic migration of data and licenses from previous versions

To use your data (labels, print data, settings, etc.) and license from previous versions in the current version, click Yes when asked whether you want to use your existing data during installation of the new version.

Manual transfer of labels and licenses from previous versions

  1. Export the labels you need from the version you are upgrading from.

    In version 14:

    1. Go to Menu > Catalogs > Labels.
    2. Select the labels you want to export using the checkboxes.
    3. Click Actions.
    4. Click Labels Export.

    In version 11:

    1. Go to Menu > Catalogs > Templates.
    2. Select the labels you want to export using the checkboxes.
    3. Click Actions.
    4. Click Templates Export.

    For other versions, you can find instructions by opening the previous version and navigating to Menu > Help > User Guide (or Help).

  2. You can save the exported labels in any folder of your choice. For convenience, you can place them in the Labels folder, which stores user labels in the current version and is located inside the application data folder. To open the application data folder in the current version, go to Menu > Tools > Open application data folder.

  3. Deactivate your license in the version you are upgrading from.

  4. Activate the license in the current version.
