Frequently Asked Questions

  • Pro license: A Pro license is a single-computer license. It can be activated on only one computer at a time.

  • Corporate license: A Corporate license is a network license. It must be activated on one main computer or RDP host, and all other computers in the same local network (or connected via Remote Desktop) use that shared license.
The number of client computers in the same local network is not limited.

Yes. All license types (monthly subscription, yearly subscription, and one-time purchase) can be transferred to another computer.

To transfer:

License transfer is intended for situations such as replacing a permanently broken computer, reinstalling Windows, or permanently moving to a new device.

You can deactivate and transfer a license up to two times without contacting support. Starting from the third deactivation, transfers are handled by support on a case-by-case basis.

For details about version eligibility and activation availability, see the Activation Policy section.

  • If your second computer is on the same local network as the first computer, then you can upgrade your license to a Corporate network license. In this case, only one Corporate license is required for all computers in the local network.

  • If your second computer is NOT on the same local network as the first computer, then you will need a second license for the second computer. A third computer will require a third license, and so on.

To do this, you must answer in the affirmative to the installer's question about using data from the old version.

On an old computer:

  1. Deactivate the licence
  2. Launch the program and go to the Menu > Tools > Backup all program data or click the Menu > Tools > Backup all program data
The program will collect all the data in one archive and show the name of the archive.
  3. Transfer the resulting archive to a new computer

The program stores all the data in the folder "%ProgramData%\AzureLabelX", where X is the version of the program. You can access it from the running program through the Menu > Tools > Open application data folder.

AzureLabel is designed to work with product datasets ranging from hundreds to tens of thousands of items.

No special template is required - the program has a flexible import system. You can find it in the Importing data section of the User Guide.

Unfortunately no. The main reason is the reliability of reading by the scanner. Each bar and each space in the barcode must be a multiple of the DPI of the printer. That's why you can't arbitrarily set the width of the barcode.

AzureLabel does not run natively on macOS. However, it can be used on macOS by running Windows in a virtual machine, for example with Parallels Desktop.

AzureLabel may be run on Linux using Wine. This setup is not officially supported and functionality may vary depending on the Linux distribution and Wine version.

Here is a basic outline of how you can install the program on Linux:

  1. Install Wine or WineHQ.
  2. Run Wine Add/Remove Programs.
  3. Click Install.
  4. Select the AzureLabel setup file.
  5. Install the program.
