  • If your second computer is on the same local network as the first computer, then you can upgrade your license to a Corporate multi-user license. In this case, only one Corporate license is required for all computers in the local network.

    Label templates and other data will be shared between all users from different computers. You can find more information about this in the How to work with label templates and data common to all users from different computers? section of the User Guide.

  • If your second computer is NOT on the same local network as the first computer, then you will need a second license for the second computer. A third computer will require a third license, and so on.

    Label templates and other data will NOT be shared between all users from different computers, but multiple users can work on shared data in turn. You can find more information about this in the How to work with label templates and data common to all users from different computers? section of the User Guide.

When installing a new version of the program, all your data from the previous version, including templates, will be copied to the new version.
To do this, you must answer in the affirmative to the installer's question about using data from the old version.

Oh sure. All your data, including templates, is stored on your computer and is not associated with licenses in any way. The license only determines the availability of certain features that the program provides.

On an old computer:

  1. If you have a trial period, then skip this step.
    Deactivate the licence
  2. Launch the program and click the Menu > Tools > Backup database
    The program will back up the database to an archive and show the name of the archive.
  3. Transfer the resulting archive to a new computer

On a new computer:

  1. Install the program
  2. Launch the program and go to the Menu > Tools > Restore database from a backup
    The program will restore the database from the archive.
  3. If you have a trial period, then skip this step.
    Activate the license

On an old computer:

  1. If you have a trial period, then skip this step.
    Deactivate the licence
  2. Launch the program and click the Menu > Tools > Backup all program data
    The program will collect all the data in one archive and show the name of the archive.
  3. Transfer the resulting archive to a new computer

On a new computer:

  1. Install the program
  2. Launch the program and go to the Menu > Tools > Restore all program data from a backup
    The program will restore all data from the archive.
    The data that was at the time of recovery will be placed in the "_restoreOfAllData_OldFiles_<Date and time>" folder, where <Date and time> in the yyyymmdd_hhmmss format (yyyy - year, mm - month, dd - day, hh - hours, mm - minutes, ss - seconds)
  3. If you have a trial period, then skip this step.
    Activate the license

The program stores all the data in the folder "%ProgramData%\AzureLabelX", where X is the version of the program. You can access it from the running program through the Menu > Tools > Open application data folder.

There are no restrictions on the quantity of products in the Product Catalog (on average, customers have from 2,000 to 50,000 products). To speed up the work, it is desirable to divide the products into folders.

No special template is required - the program has a flexible import system. You can find it in the Loading data from a source section of the User Guide.

Unfortunately no. The main reason is the reliability of reading by the scanner. Each bar and each space in the barcode must be a multiple of the DPI of the printer. That's why you can't arbitrarily set the width of the barcode.

The program can run on macOS if you run it using Parallels Desktop.

Yes. You can run AzureLabel with Wine. Here is an instruction on how to install the program on Linux:

  1. Install Wine or WineHQ.
  2. Run Wine Add/Remove Programs.
  3. Click Install.
  4. Select AzureLabel setup file.
  5. Install the program.
