Introduction

AzureLabel can be integrated with external systems—including desktop applications, websites, mobile apps, databases, and business software—to automate label printing, exchange data, open the Label Designer, retrieve label lists, run tasks, and more.

Automation can be triggered in different ways depending on your workflow. Some methods allow external applications to send commands directly, while others monitor files or data sources and automatically print labels when changes are detected.

AzureLabel provides the following integration and automation methods:

  1. Command-Line Interface (CLI) – Run AzureLabel with command-line parameters from scripts, scheduled tasks, or other applications.
  2. REST API – Control AzureLabel over HTTP and exchange data with desktop, web, or mobile applications.
  3. Clipboard API – Send commands and print data through the Windows clipboard for lightweight integrations.
  4. File Trigger – Monitor files, file patterns, or folders and automatically print labels when matching files are created or modified.
  5. Data Change Trigger – Monitor a data source and automatically print labels when its data changes.
