How to create QR codes and barcodes from data fields
Data fields can come from Excel spreadsheets, databases, Google Sheets, APIs, the built-in Print Data table, and other supported data sources.
The same steps can be used to create QR codes, UPC barcodes, EAN barcodes, Code 128 barcodes, Data Matrix barcodes, and other supported barcode types.
This example uses the Link field, which contains website addresses. Each record generates a different QR code.
-
To create a barcode from a data field, drag the field from the Data fields list to an empty area of the label.

-
Select the Barcode type.

-
Select the desired barcode type, such as QR Code, UPC-A, EAN-13, Code 128, or another supported barcode format, then click OK.

-
Set the desired position and size of the barcode.

You can also drag a data field onto an existing barcode element to replace its current data source.
